Always better to be safe. But there's no telling what might drop from the sky tomorrow.

I'll lend a hand where I can. Still a bit slow with this new limp. Leg's a little stiff. Might be that way for a while.

I've been walking. Just around the campus. Those cultists are being a real pain down in the city. Or so I hear. Figured I should stay out of the public eye for a bit, until I can move proper.

Actually, I've been spending more time in the greenhouse. It's not much, but it's something to look forward to. [And something to care for. It's a piece of nostalgia that hasn't quite left him. It reminds him of home and of Georgia; the sunlight; Lori's small hands.]

You're right about that. I haven't really been much of a survivor, have I?

It's just outside campus grounds. At least, it was. Most of this new forestry has got it all mussed up. We were trying to grow some tomatoes, some herbs. Nothing seems to take, though. Might be that the ground is too acidic.

Hershel would have made a lot of things easier, I think. We've got our fair share of doctors here, but nobody like him.



I still check the railroad sometimes. See if anyone we know crossed over. Just not sure if things would be any better for them here than back home.

He gets himself into an awful lot of trouble. I haven't spoken to him in a few days either. And compared to him, my track record is unimpressive. He up and kicks the bucket every other day seems like.
